How much money are you looking to raise and from whom (business angel/VC/HNWI)?

We are looking to raise $2M in SAFE notes as a bridge to a $20M series A.

We prefer angels and high net-worth individuals for this round, and expect VC involvement in the Series A.

How much money have you raised thus far?

We have previously raised ~$400k from friends and family.

Do you have any VC's onboard, if any please mention the names?

We have presented to less than a handful of VCs and are focusing those efforts on the 20M Series A; none currently on board.

When is the deadline to close for your round of funding?

For the 2M round:

We give every investor some weeks to make a decision; at that point, if you haven't signed, you will be excluded from this round.

Our round ends once we hit 2M or fund the Series A.

What does Vaiu do?

Vaiu is a transaction software platform enabling secure, private and instant transfers of digital cash using a patent-pending innovation that greatly simplifies brick and mortar and e-commerce payments.

It uses the current banking infrastructure and enables interoperability accross payment systems.
